The Mill has been bestowed with the name "The Fish". From early times the Molenaar gave their mills names, either of plants or animals.  Here we felt "De Visch" best typified the area; Lake Michigan providing  an occupation for many early settlers, Zeeland Province being the home of so many of our ancestors.
