OUR MISSION
To discover, collect, and preserve information, records and objects relating to the history of the Village of Cedar Grove and surrounding townships, and to make said materials available for viewing and study by interested people.
At the Museums of Cedar Grove, we believe that our community’s story is its greatest asset. We serve as the guardians of the Te Ronde House and Het Museum, where we care for the tangible pieces of our shared past—from over 1,000 local artifacts to personal letters and ledgers that tell the story of the Village's founding.

Het Celebrates 50 Years!
Het (The) Museum, on Main Street in Cedar Grove, WI, is located in a historic former cheese factory and blacksmith shop, built in the late 1880's. The building was purchased by the Village of Cedar Grove in 1975 from Ruesink Plumbing and Heating Company. The front of the building was designed to resemble a building of Dutch Architecture. Most of the artifacts displayed are memorabilia of Cedar Grove.These have been donated to Het Museum by local residents.

The museums are open by appointment any day of the week for groups, families, or individuals.
